This is my journal. I don’t like themes. I can never keep the theme going, so I just stop writing. That is not good.
P.S. If anyone is wondering the dog’s name is Howie. He’s a Jack Russel Terrier/Border Collie mix.

I don’t want to start a Python vs. Ruby flame war. But I, as a C++ programmer found Python easier to learn. (I’m not saying Ruby isn’t better in some ways, and I was using Ruby for some time before I switched to Python!)

I have used Python, and the one thing that really bugs me about it is that tabbing. I’m all for keeping my code immaculate but to make tabs into code delimiters is a bit much. Ruby is different, very different. You really have to think in Ruby, kind of like you think in C++ right now. Like I said I only dabbled into Ruby.

I also found Python easy to get started with, however, I have had the most fun programming with Ruby, which is why its my language of choice right now.
